Over the years, I have worked with a number of startup breweries. I have found that I really enjoy figuring out what an future brewery needs (and doesn’t need) for a start up operation. The project that I’m currently working on, has allowed me to design everything including equipment choice and purchase.

I have always paid attention to ‘things’ that shouldn’t have been done at a brewery and things that should have been done that weren’t.

I’ve found that it is alot easiser (and cheaper) to pay attention to these actions. While some that are interested in creating a brewery have knowledge in brewing areas, they lack to overview that I have managed to acquire working for other breweries.
